I totally disagree. We can't make such mistake again by giving him the senate President most especially being a very new decampee and member of the party. It will dampen the morale of the old members of the party in the senate. Secondly, if I remember, he is a first timer.

However, he is very much qualified to become the majority leader but Senate President has to go to Lawal while either Andy Ubah or Ben Uwajumogu will have to be the DSP. This will placate any or envisaged uproar from Ndi Igbo concerning the Deputy Senate Presidency which they have occupied but unfortunately through Ekweremadu.

APC must not give room for the Igbos to begin to doubt them again as this will be counter productive going into the next year elections.... When PDP's Ekweremadu from South East is impeached, its politically expedient that another Igbo man replaces him till 2019 when an Igbo man takes the Senate presidency as originally planned from beginning but for their failure or blind refusal to vote an APC Senator back then.

Sokoto plans three micro finance banks, SMEs’ bill

The Sokoto State Government says it plans to establish three micro finance banks as well as a small and medium enterprises development agency to promote entrepreneurship among the people of the state. Speaking when he received members of the Small and Medium Scale Rice Millers Association in Sokoto  Tuesday , Governor Aminu Tambuwal said the Sokoto State Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency Bill had been presented to the state House of Assembly for passage into law. A statement by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Imam Imam, on Tuesday, stated that Tambuwal gave the names of the proposed three micro finance banks as Giginya, Fodiyo and Gudale. Imo Assembly Impeaches Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere

The Imo State House of Assembly has impeached the Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere. He was impeached on today Monday, 30th July 2018 by 19 out of the 27 member-assembly. The Speaker of the House, Acho Ihim, said the impeachment followed the outcome of a report of a 7-man panel which was constituted by the Chief Judge of the state to investigate allegations of gross misconduct and abandonment of office by the Deputy Governor.
