NO POLITICS IN SULTANATE COUNCIL

The Sultanate Council of Sokoto has desociated itself from a post being circulated in the social media conveying the support of the Sultan of Sokoto,Alhaji Muhammad Sa'ad Abubakar for  the defection of Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal from the All Progressives Congress, APC to the People's Democracy Party, PDP.

 The Council asserted that the post,which is made by unknown people, not in any way connected to it, is  complete falsehood. It added that the Sultan, who, as a father to all Muslims, holds no partisan interests or opinion.

  The royal father therefore called on the public and good people of Nigeria to disregard the post as the work of mischief,while reiterating the Council's neutral stance in politics, praying Allah to grant greater peace and prosperity to Nigeria.

Chief Olusegun Obasanjo was asked to tell  Nigerians what he did with 16 billion dollar on electricity power. The chief, a PhD holder asked Nigerians to read his book. Smart old man. Assuming there are a minimum of  50 million Nigerians that can avoid to buy and read his book at minimum cost of 1000 Naira, the old man would have raked in 50x10 to power 9 Naira or 50 billion Naira. Smart old business man. Can you imagine the insult to Nigerian Nation. Sokoto plans three micro finance banks, SMEs’ bill

The Sokoto State Government says it plans to establish three micro finance banks as well as a small and medium enterprises development agency to promote entrepreneurship among the people of the state. Speaking when he received members of the Small and Medium Scale Rice Millers Association in Sokoto  Tuesday , Governor Aminu Tambuwal said the Sokoto State Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency Bill had been presented to the state House of Assembly for passage into law. A statement by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Imam Imam, on Tuesday, stated that Tambuwal gave the names of the proposed three micro finance banks as Giginya, Fodiyo and Gudale.
