2019: Ekiti N-Power Beneficiaries Declare for Buhari

Over 11,000 beneficiaries of the Federal Government intervention programme, N-Power, have declared support for the second term bid of President Muhammadu Buhari. They made the declaration in Ado Ekiti when letters of enlistment were presented to another 8,000 beneficiaries in the second phase of the intervention scheme in the state. The President of N-Power beneficiaries in Ekiti State, Mr. Dare Oladimeji, who spoke on behalf of his colleagues, commended the president for initiating the scheme for youths without political interference. According to him, many of the beneficiaries of the scheme are from the opposition Peoples Democratic Party. “We want to appreciate President Buhari for this initiative. This is the first programme that I knew was not political. It was not politically motivated but was established to alleviate the sufferings of our youths. “You didn’t need to know any Senator, House of Representatives member or powerful politician before you are enlisted. President Buhari Invites Imam who Saved Fleeing Persons from Plateau killings for Hand Shake, National Honour.

President Muhammadu Buhari has instructed Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State to bring 83-year-old Imam of Nghar village, Gashish District in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area, Abdullahi Abubakar, for “a hand shake and national honour.” The President reportedly took the decision following reports that the imam saved about 300 persons on June 24 when suspected Fulani herdsmen invaded about 15 communities in Barkin Ladi LGA, killing scores. The victims were said to be running for safety from a neighbouring village in the Barkin Ladi LGA when the imam allegedly hid them in his house and mosque. “I hid the women in my personal house and after that, I took the men into the mosque and hid them there,” Imam Abubakar had stated. However, the assailants reportedly caught up with the imam, and ordered him to release to them those he had hidden. But the cleric reportedly refused, and the attackers left without further ado. Governor Lalong revealed the President’s plan for Imam Abu...

Private Jet Fever

It's more than 3 years of Buhari in office, no cleric nor politician has bought private jet Is private jet no more in the market?

Gloves are coming off. The clouds are gathering.

Saraki reigned like an emperor in the senate for 3 years. Whenever he went to court to the senate shut down in solidarity. When anyone plotted against him, he was sent to the guillotine, ethics and privileges committee. Even Omoagege had tendered an apology before he recollected his crumbling mojo. But even after Omoagege's boys desecrated the senate, Omoagaege didnt get open  support for his defiance. You can call it rascality.  The dissidents didnt have the balls. Saraki was the emperor. But the battle line is  now etched in stone . And that was why Senator Adamu bragged that he would have walked Saraki out of Aso Rock if he had attended the meeting of the APC senate caucus called by the president. Has the cow lost its tail? Don't laugh oo. Senator Adamu went ahead to do some elderly gbeborun. He said Saraki once told him that Dino was a useless clown fit to be used and dumped in a Jedi Jedi  heap. Senator Adbdullahi Adamu, former governor of Nassar...

STRATEGIES TO RESCUE KWARA FROM SARAKI

The best form of defence is to attack the enemies; right in their territory. Those who understand the strategy of war know this. You take the fight down the doorstep of your enemies: you don't give them any breathing space to strategize or to launch a reprisal. Continue pounding them till they are completely weak and decimated. They will either flee or surrender to your superior firepower. Precisely, this is tactic playing out in the political tussle between the leadership of APC and Saraki in Kwara State. APC is now implementing the other part of its name. APC can mean All Progressives Congress or Armoured Personnel Carrier (what a layman normally calls a Machine Gun). APC is an armoured vehicle for carrying infantry soldiers in combat. Roll them out! The strategy is very simple: 1_ Suspend Kwara APC. This has been done. 2_ Inaugurate a caretaker exco. This has been done. 3_ Expel Saraki and Fatai Ahmed from APC before they defect to PDP. This must be done within 24 hours...

Coalition Of Anambra Youths For Buhari Lauds Senator Uba For Facilitating The Release Of N37.95 billion For Federal Projects

Coalition Of Anambra Youth For Buhari (CAYB) has expressed gratitude to Senator Andy Uba (APC, Anambra South) for facilitating the release of N37.95billion out of the N43billion owed the state for the repair of and rehabilitation of federal roads and other intervention funds on federal government projects in the state by president Muhammadu Buhari led government. This was made known by (CAYB) chairman Martin Chukwu through a press release obtained exclusively by yans.ng. Mr Chukwu noted that the amount which will go a long way in improving the living standard and wellbeing of the people further demonstrates the fact that president Muhammadu Buhari means well for the people of the region. "Since the return to democratic rule in 1999, the South East has suffered neglect in the area of road construction and other infrastructural development, despite huge budgetary allocations to the region," he said. "Ever since President Muhammadu Buhari came on board in 2015, h...

Hon Abdulwahab Issa gave more than 300 people federal appointment while he was a member house of rep, he was neither the speaker nor a senator,  he never lined them up and start sharing appointment letter to them in front of camera. Professor shuaib Oba Abdulraheem gave  more than 500 kwarans federal appointment, many kwarans became professors when he was the VC university of ilorin, no time were they paraded in front of camera to gain cheap political points. A former minister, professor Abubakar Sulaiman spent only 10 months as minister of national planing and he gave over 80 kwarans federal appointments, they were not ask to hold their appointment letters in front camera. The present Hon. Minister of Information & Culture had helped so many in securing Federal jobs, no time he gave appointments letters in front of camera. But unfortunately, the senate president who is the number three man in the country secured appointment for just six people and they were made t...

Wole Soyinka on PDP Defection

IF APC is not the answer to our Problems, there is no reason going back to the instigators of the problem. I'm not a politician but I would do everything not to have PDP in Government in Nigeria. The greatest tragedy that can befall a nation is for her citizens to suffer collective amnesia. I believe PDP believes Nigerians have short memories, if not, Ibori would not have been included in their convention committee and Jonathan would not have been allowed to talk (He ended up indicting himself as usual anyway). For those who may have forgotten, kindly joggle your memories with the following words on marble and you will agree with me that what happened in Eagle square on saturday was nothing but gathering of rogues. Happy reading: 1. I acted based on Jonathan's instruction - Dasuki 2. I didn't give order - Jonathan 3. I collected 350M from Dasuki for consultation - Iyorchia Ayu 4. I only collected $30,000 from Dasuki not N100m - Bode George 5. I got N4.6b fro...

Saraki Fired...

"So far, I had refrained from responding in kind out of respect for his age. However, it seems he has misread my maturity and respect for docility.  He feels the best way to play his self-survival game and ingratiate himself to the government in order to save his skin is for him to be seen to be fighting Saraki, even if that would require him to tell brazen lies and peddle mischief in his old age. However, I feel his latest statement in an interview with a national newspaper deserves a reaction from me. First, I could not have referred to my colleague, Senator Dino Melaye as a clown, knowing that from available records, Senator Melaye has so far outshined and has performed better than Senator Abdullahi in terms of the number of bills sponsored, motion raised and contributions to debate on the floor. "Clearly, Adamu's seven years cannot be compared to Senator Melaye's three years. Senator Adamu is free to challenge this assertion by showing his records.  Again, I res...

WE WILL NOT CEDE KWARA APC TO DOUBLE AGENTS

My attention has been drawn to the statement made by one Alhaji Jimoh Balogun, at a press conference in Ilorin today, questioning my membership of and contributions to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State. The issue of my membership of the APC, as well as my contributions to the growth of the party in Kwara and indeed in Nigeria as a whole, is settled and not subject to any contestation. For those who may be engaging in mischief over this, the massive turnout of APC members and supporters to welcome me, during my trip home this past weekend for a stakeholders' consultative meeting, should serve as ample confirmation. The truth is that those who are making this allegation are the ones who need to validate their membership of our great party, since they have left no one in any doubt about their status as 'double agents'. Alhaji Balogun is one of the three Kwara Senatorial Chairmen who recently called on their leader to take them out of the APC. As far as o...

ITAKPE - WARRI STANDARD GAUGE RAIL LINE

1. “More innocent souls have been killed in the last 2 yrs by terrorists than at any other time in Nigeria outside the civil war. How does Pres Jonathan & his men feel about winning such a dubious & dishonorable title? Does he still regard Boko Haram as “his siblings”? The Imo State House of Assembly has impeached the Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere. He was impeached on today Monday, 30th July 2018 by 19 out of the 27 member-assembly. Corruption Fighting Back

Corruption is viciously fighting back using SARAKI, Kwankwaso, PDP, CAN  and cheap blackmail as one of its main weapons.

Monafiki Agbalagba!

Chief Olusegun Obasanjo was asked to tell  Nigerians what he did with 16 billion dollar on electricity power. The chief, a PhD holder asked Nigerians to read his book. Smart old man. Assuming there are a minimum of  50 million Nigerians that can avoid to buy and read his book at minimum cost of 1000 Naira, the old man would have raked in 50x10 to power 9 Naira or 50 billion Naira. Smart old business man. Can you imagine the insult to Nigerian Nation. A man who cannot give small stewardship can now be a judge of another man who stewardship is opened and clear!  Monafiki Agbalagba!

And Osho... Said...

"When we met Governor Ortom in my office, I presented to him petitions against him. They said you didn't construct any road, you don't pay salaries, we haven't come to Benue to commission any project in three years. All we came for is to mourn. We showed him list of those arrested in connection with killings of Priests, they are people known to you, some are your appointees, they have written statements and they admitted they killed the priests. What do you have to say? But he was more interested in getting the party's ticket, we are interested in getting answers to those petitions." ~ Adams Oshiomhole

PRESIDENT BUHARI SENDS COMBINED SECURITY FORCES, FIGHTER AIRCRAFT AFTER ZAMFARA BANDITS

The Federal Government has assembled 1000-strong military force, comprising the army, air force, police and the civil defence to launch fierce attacks on the bandits terrorising the villages and towns of Zamfara State. Following directives by President Muhammadu Buhari, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has begun the deployment of fighter aircraft to Katsina, the airport with the closest proximity to Zamfara State to make for immediate and effective response to the menace of the bandits. This had not been possible in the past because there was no fuel depot facility in Katsina, but NAF has devised a way around the problem. The President has also authorised the engagement by NAF, of advanced satellite surveillance technology to help in accurate detection of movement and locations of the bandits. The government had to go to this extent because of the limitations of conventional surveillance, as the use of satellite technology could make the task of NAF less  problematic. Follow...

George Akume Blows hot Concerning Orthoms Non-performance

Ortom is finished politically. He will use only one thing to campaign because there's nothing else on ground to use,  and that is the killings. Unfortunately, he is culpable. His men have been arrested and have confessed to some of these killings. He is incompetent, he only collects Security Votes but guaranteed no safety. Let him declare how much he collects as Security Votes and how much assistance he rendered to the security agencies. Let him declare how much in Bailouts and Paris Club Refunds he collected and how much in salaries he has paid. Let him tell us how much in allocation he has collected and why he cannot pay salaries, still he is not investing in infrastructures. If we can see infrastructures, we may say probably he's investing the money but here we are, he wanted the party to present him again. Who does that? I thank God the party listen to Benue People, Ortom is a disaster and nightmare"

DEFECTORS ARE TOO CLEVER BY HALF

President Muhammadu Buhari has been advised to ignore those who recently defected from the ruling party to other political parties. The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) gave this advice in a press statement issued on Monday. According to the Islamic human rights organization, instead of dissipating energy on defectors, the Federal Government (FG) should concentrate on its infrastructural projects. The statement added that the defectors never really belonged to the ruling party. It described them as distractors who only possess nuisance value and politicians who find it difficult to operate in a transparent political environment because the corruption virus is not only in their blood, it is domiciled in their DNA. “They have found an easy solution by defecting to the same party which prioritized corruption, idolized kleptomaniacs and rewarded criminality and impunity. These are the true enemies of the Nigerian people. Thieves are regrouping to loot again. We must congratulate Buhari...

Please read this post by VOA (Victor Okechukwu Anyaegbuna) I repeat, PMB is not the problem of Nigeria. Take it or leave it.

WHO ARE THE KLEPTOCRATS? Read this intriguing and provocative piece; yet Nigerians refuse to be provoked instead holding one man, Buhari, responsible for all their woes! How far can you push a Nigerian before he reacts like an angry lion? Isn't it a ridiculous mockery and insult that Nigerians are the only world citizens that when pushed to the wall, spend more energy to break the wall and cross over rather than fight back? Read this and let's know who our real enemies and shameless oppressors are - GOVERNORS, EX-GOVERNORS, SENATORS, REPS. Can't we do something to get rid of these big thieves that use our power against us? ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! NIGERIANS WAKE UP! A lion never shies away from a fight when it is hungry, neither does it blame the buffalo for resisting or refusing to be eaten. How come our forefathers dared death and everything to give us a sane society? Shaaaaaame!!! Please endeavour to read this very interesting piece! STATE OF THE NATION A SELF DE...

I AM NOT BOTHERED ABOUT DEFECTIONS IN THE APC, SAYS PRESIDENT BUHARI

Image
President Muhammadu Buhari said Sunday night that he was not bothered about the defections in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). The President, who was responding to a question during an interactive session with the Nigerian community in Togo at the Nigerian Embassy, Lome, said most Nigerians appreciated the performance of his administration. According to him, “I am not bothered about the defections. Ordinary Nigerians have developed confidence in us and are defending us. I assure you, majority of Nigerians back home are appreciative of our efforts.” Expressing delight in seeing the Nigerians who had travelled from the five regions of Togo to welcome him in Lome, President Buhari said he was pleased to hear them commend the performance of his administration. He assured them that his administration had remained steadfast in keeping to its three campaign promises of providing security, improving the economy and fighting corruption. The President noted that if past g...

HOW TO DETECT A HIDDEN CAMERA IN A ROOM.

When you stay in a hotel, how do you know there is no room secret pinhole camera? When you travel to an unfamiliar destination or take a business trip, you stay at a hotel, but what you do not know is that you could unknowingly be photographed or be secretly recorded. In this age of smart recording devices and pinhole sized drones, always remember when staying in a hotel, that you can use this method to check your room : 1.When you have entered into your room, turn off the lights, and close the curtains, open your phone camera, do not turn the flash light on. 2.Turn around the room with your cell phone. When a red dot is found on your screen, that means that a hidden web camera is installed. If no red dots, then the room is okay. Please forward this message to your friends who travel a lot. And those that make a lot of business trips. And those that may be sleep nude. My dear friends and sisters kindly note and be aware. Don't be a victim of a nude picture.

The Difference

One Major difference between PDP and APC is that the military formed PDP in 1998, Politicians formed APC in 2013.

Keyamo: Demographics Show Buhari Will Record Landslide Victory in 2019

Festus Keyamo, spokesman of the campaign of the reelection of President Muhammadu Buhari, says demographics have shown that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will win the 2019 presidential poll. In a statement on Sunday, Keyamo said the exodus that hit the ruling party at the national assembly and Benue state will not affect the chances of Buhari in the election. Last week, 52 APC federal legislators moved to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the African Democratic Congress (ADC). Samuel Ortom, governor of Benue, also reigned his membership of the ruling party but Keyamo said this poses no threat to Buhari even if Aminu Tambuwal, governor of Sokoto, and Abdulfatah Ahmed, governor of Kwara pull out of the APC. He said Buhari’s record in office will also speak for him in the election. “The latest defections by some national assembly members and the governor of Benue state WILL NOT harm the re-election of President Buhari in 2019. This would even be so if the much-rumour...

EFCC Detectives to Quiz Ekweremadu Over Assets

Detectives are to quiz Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu tomorrow on some  assets linked with him. He is expected at 10a.m. at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abuja. This is the second time in a week that the EFCC has invited Ekweremadu. According to a source, who spoke in confidence, the invitation followed Ekweremadu’s request that he should be given another day. The source said: “We have delivered a fresh letter of invitation to Ekweremadu and he has confirmed the receipt. “Our detectives are expected to interrogate Ekweremadu on some assets linked with him. The EFCC is suspecting that the assets were acquired with suspicious funds. “Some of these assets have been located in the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Ekweremadu is said to have omitted some of these properties  in his assets declaration form. EFCC detectives are believed to have been on this case in the last nine months. Some of the apartme...

Without Kwankwaso, Victory is Sure for PMB

Buhari defeated OBJ in Kano without Kwankwaso in 2003. Shekarau won that year's gubernatorial election in Kano state on Buhari factor. In a nutshell, as an opposition candidate, he beat a sitting governor and president. In 2007, he beat the late Yar Adua in Kano state and got Shekarau re elected for a second term without Kwankwaso, still as an opposition candidate. In 2011, he beat another sitting president, GEJ, in Kano state when Kwankwaso was in PDP as gubernatorial candidate. That Buhari won Kano state in 2015 wasn't because of Kwankwaso factor. He won Kano state without Shekarau. Buhari is Kano and Kano is Buhari. Truth be told, someone like Shekarau should not think that he has anything to do to hurt Buhari's chances in the 2019 polls. In 2015, he defected to PDP and became a minister. He was so empowered to work against Buhari in the state but on the election day he was overwhelmed by the Buhari factor. Buhari will win Kano state anytime, anyday. Sai Bu...

That is Nigerian jet Lee 😂 Dino is practicing snake in the monkey shadow here How I was on top of a tree for 11 hours to escape assassination -Dino Melaye I jumped into the bush, and I started running,” Mr Melaye said. “They pursued me and I was able to outmanoeuvre them and climb a tree. “I was on top of the three when I saw them run past looking frantically for me. When they didn’t find me, they also ran back.” He would go on to spend 11 hours trying to ensure that he was no longer at immediate risk from his assailants and navigating his way out of the overgrown weeds. He also said he could not identify any of them, even if there is an identification parade by authorities, largely because he was more apprehensive of his survival than anything else at that traumatic moment.

PDP AND THE PARABLE OF THE BEAUTIFUL SERPENT By [Ofonime Honesty]

Image
Another political season is upon us. Another round of intrigues, subterfuges and outright hypocrisy is panning out. The political players are back to the political chess board, executing deft feints and dexterous maneuverings. Dear reader, 2019 is pregnant, and we are anticipating what it shall bring forth. As I ruminated on the 2019 elections, contemporary goings-on in the polity made a sad tale of yore become relevant. You might choose to call it a fable. You can as well label it a parable, if you so wish. Please, permit me to retale the tale. Legend has it that a young girl was trekking along a path on a hill enroute her grandma's hut. She suddenly heard a hiss. Looking down, she saw a serpent which spook to her, surprisingly. "I am about to die here. I am severely wounded, a piece of rock fell on me. Here is too cold for me, I need my wounds to be treated. Please, put me under your coat and take me home. I need you to pour ointment on my wound to make it heal fast...

The Herdsmen Irony

Ortom and Tashaku! Since the arrest of the Governor's aide, the incessant killings have stopped. Nigerian journalists have not celebrated the arrest of some Boko Haram commanders by DCP Abba Kyari and his team. The killers of the two Catholic priests, who criticised Ortom for not paying workers' salaries, have been condemned to death for the heinous crime. It is not celebrated. The murderous train has shifted to Zamfara. Nigerians should be watchful. The killers are on the prowl. Now is the time to confront yellow journalism. These villains and their sponsors appear intimate with the roving murderous bandits.
