We are essentially about the people and the society, a platform geared towards influencing the way people think about everything. We are of the belief that if the people are conscious and aware of happenings around them, they will be able to make the society a better place for themselves and generations yet unborn and this can only be achieved through education and enlightenment. We  therefore seeks to re-awaken the consciousness of the people and enlighten them in all spheres of human endeavor towards participating in the process of making our society a better place.  It desires to give a voice to the voiceless so that together, we can break away from the chains of poverty, deprivation, disunity, conflict and declining values in our society. Together we shall demand for leadership & good governance, justice, fairness, transparency & accountability among others and God willing, nobody is going to stop us.

Sokoto plans three micro finance banks, SMEs’ bill

The Sokoto State Government says it plans to establish three micro finance banks as well as a small and medium enterprises development agency to promote entrepreneurship among the people of the state. Speaking when he received members of the Small and Medium Scale Rice Millers Association in Sokoto  Tuesday , Governor Aminu Tambuwal said the Sokoto State Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency Bill had been presented to the state House of Assembly for passage into law. A statement by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Imam Imam, on Tuesday, stated that Tambuwal gave the names of the proposed three micro finance banks as Giginya, Fodiyo and Gudale. Imo Assembly Impeaches Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere

The Imo State House of Assembly has impeached the Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere. He was impeached on today Monday, 30th July 2018 by 19 out of the 27 member-assembly. The Speaker of the House, Acho Ihim, said the impeachment followed the outcome of a report of a 7-man panel which was constituted by the Chief Judge of the state to investigate allegations of gross misconduct and abandonment of office by the Deputy Governor.
