Without Kwankwaso, Victory is Sure for PMB

Buhari defeated OBJ in Kano without Kwankwaso in 2003. Shekarau won that year's gubernatorial election in Kano state on Buhari factor. In a nutshell, as an opposition candidate, he beat a sitting governor and president.

In 2007, he beat the late Yar Adua in Kano state and got Shekarau re elected for a second term without Kwankwaso, still as an opposition candidate.

In 2011, he beat another sitting president, GEJ, in Kano state when Kwankwaso was in PDP as gubernatorial candidate.

That Buhari won Kano state in 2015 wasn't because of Kwankwaso factor. He won Kano state without Shekarau.

Buhari is Kano and Kano is Buhari.

Truth be told, someone like Shekarau should not think that he has anything to do to hurt Buhari's chances in the 2019 polls. In 2015, he defected to PDP and became a minister. He was so empowered to work against Buhari in the state but on the election day he was overwhelmed by the Buhari factor.

Buhari will win Kano state anytime, anyday.

Sokoto plans three micro finance banks, SMEs’ bill

The Sokoto State Government says it plans to establish three micro finance banks as well as a small and medium enterprises development agency to promote entrepreneurship among the people of the state. Speaking when he received members of the Small and Medium Scale Rice Millers Association in Sokoto  Tuesday , Governor Aminu Tambuwal said the Sokoto State Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency Bill had been presented to the state House of Assembly for passage into law. A statement by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Imam Imam, on Tuesday, stated that Tambuwal gave the names of the proposed three micro finance banks as Giginya, Fodiyo and Gudale. Imo Assembly Impeaches Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere

The Imo State House of Assembly has impeached the Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere. He was impeached on today Monday, 30th July 2018 by 19 out of the 27 member-assembly. The Speaker of the House, Acho Ihim, said the impeachment followed the outcome of a report of a 7-man panel which was constituted by the Chief Judge of the state to investigate allegations of gross misconduct and abandonment of office by the Deputy Governor.
