$1=N72 in 1999 when PDP got to power. They left it at N234. •50kg of rice was N800 in 1999. They left at 8,000/50kg. Nitel, Nepa, Nigerian Airways, NRC, Nigerian Shipping, NMT, OSTM, Ajaokuta steel, Nipost, & National Oil ...Dunlop, Nitex, Nascon, Dicon, Volkswagen, NEPA, Nigerchin, Michelin, Nichemtex and NIC were all alive in 1999. They killed and buried them all before leaving in 2015. The assets they stripped and shared amongst themselves. Think deep before you copy and paste online. Deep within your mind, you know your poverty started decades back. Buhari/Osinbajo government is not the genesis of your woes. theirs' is to fix the broken bones. And putting broken bones together comes with a lot of initial pains. Look at the kind of financial discipline Nigerians have now, Northern Nigerian almost lost it completely to insurgency but look at today. What's our treasury saying? We want to just enjoy without suffering the consequences of the idiot...

SOUTH EAST: IS IT NOT TOO LATE?

I have read the recent transmissions by Senator Bukola Saraki directed at my Igbo tribe. I have deliberately kept mum on this as I had earlier resolved to speak less on Igbos as regards the 2019 Elections and 2023 Presidency having said quite a bit. However seeing as some of my brethren have swallowed the cheap bait, I will chip this in just to keep the reality before us, at least for posterity sake. Truth is bitter but it's still the best medicine. My people say; 'He who does not remember where the rain started beating him, will not remember where it stopped'. REWIND TO 2014. A new National Party was being conceived. Political Parties, political players, and Regions were being wooed to the new alliance. 'We' Igbos (read South East) vehemently refused to touch it even with a long pole. We packaged, sold to ourselves and bought the baseless propaganda that it was an Islamic alliance that would birth an "Islamic" and "Hausa" Party. Simply ...

Again, APC Asks Saraki To Resign As Senate President

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has again called on Dr Bukola Saraki to resign his position as the President of the Senate. In a statement on Wednesday by the party’s Acting National Publicity Secretary, Yekini Nabena, the APC claimed that the Senate President lacked the moral ground to retain the position after defecting to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). “We reiterate our call for the Senate President to resign from the position immediately as he no longer has the moral and legitimate ground to occupy that position as a member of the minority PDP. “Going by the popular axiom, the majority will have their way, but the minority will have their say,” the ruling party said. They also reacted to the  invasion of the National Assembly complex  in Abuja by security operatives who prevented lawmakers from entering the complex on Tuesday. The APC noted that while they have some contention with the leadership of the National Assembly as currently constituted, t...
